Simple to get, simple to run

Starlink uses a network of low-orbit satellites rather than ground-based cables. The dish goes outside with a clear view of the sky, and that is effectively all the infrastructure you need.

๐Ÿ“ก

We supply the dish

We supply the Starlink Standard 4X dish and include it in your monthly rental. No upfront hardware cost, no ordering from Starlink yourself.

๐Ÿ”ง

We install it properly

Our engineers mount the dish, run the cabling and configure your network. A professional installation means the dish is positioned correctly and built to last.

๐ŸŒ

You get fast broadband

Typical speeds of 220Mbps down and 25Mbps up, with latency of 20โ€“40ms. Fast enough for VoIP, video calls, cloud applications and general office use.

๐Ÿ“

Works almost anywhere

Rural, industrial, agricultural, construction โ€” if there is an unobstructed view of the sky, Starlink will work. No exchange proximity, no fibre rollout required.

โšก

No engineering survey

Unlike leased lines or FTTP installs, there is no Openreach survey, no wayleave, no waiting months for infrastructure. Most installs complete within days of ordering.

๐Ÿ”„

Flexible contract

12-month minimum, then 30 days notice to cancel. You only pay for what you use. If you leave, the dish comes back to us โ€” no disposal hassle for you.

Choose how you want it installed

The monthly charge is the same either way. Installation is the only variable.

Where Starlink makes sense

Starlink is not the right answer for every business. In a city centre or dense urban area, FTTP from ITS or a leased line will give you better speed, lower latency and a proper business SLA. Starlink's strength is coverage โ€” it works where nothing else does.

Rural and agricultural businesses have historically had to manage on slow ADSL or 4G with poor signal. Starlink changes that entirely. A 220Mbps connection is genuinely capable of running a modern business, including VoIP phone systems, video calls, cloud accounting, EPOS and remote access.

Industrial estates and business parks are often poorly served by the existing telecoms infrastructure. Many were built before full-fibre rollout reached them, and Openreach surveys for leased lines in these locations can involve months of wayleave negotiation. Starlink bypasses all of that.

Construction sites and temporary locations are where satellite connectivity has always had an advantage โ€” no installation lead time, no dependence on local infrastructure. A Starlink install can be operational the same day.

Limitations worth knowing

Starlink requires an unobstructed view of the sky. Trees, buildings or other structures blocking the horizon to the north will affect performance. The Starlink app has an obstruction checker โ€” worth running before committing to an install.

Speeds vary. Starlink quotes up to 220Mbps down and 25Mbps up, and real-world testing in the UK typically shows 100โ€“190Mbps. Upload speeds are significantly lower than a leased line or ITS FibreLight, so it is not ideal for businesses with heavy outbound data needs.

The Starlink Max plan does not carry an enterprise SLA. If your business cannot tolerate any downtime, a leased line remains the right answer. Starlink works well as a primary connection for most businesses, and excellently as a resilience backup alongside a wired line.

We supply and install the dish โ€” we do not operate or manage the Starlink network. Service issues with the satellite network itself are handled by Starlink. We handle the hardware and installation side.

Common questions

The dish needs a clear view of the sky โ€” specifically towards the north in the UK, as that is where the Starlink satellites pass overhead. The Starlink app includes an obstruction checker that uses your phone's camera to identify whether any structures will block the signal before we install. We can run this check during a site visit before you commit.
Yes. With latency of 20โ€“40ms, Starlink is suitable for hosted VoIP and Microsoft Teams calling. It is not as low-latency as a wired connection, but in practice the difference is not noticeable on voice calls. We run GoyYap hosted VoIP, which works well over Starlink connections.
After your minimum term, give us 30 days written notice. We'll arrange to collect the dish at a time that suits you. Billing stops pro-rata from the date the dish is returned in good condition. On a 3-year deal, if you leave before the term ends, the installation cost (ยฃ195) becomes payable at that point.
Yes โ€” managed router and WiFi access point options are available as extras on top of the standard ยฃ75/mo. This is worth considering if you need coverage across a larger building or site, or if you want remote monitoring and management of your network. Ask us for pricing when you enquire.
We supply the Starlink Max plan โ€” Starlink's top standard tier, offering the highest network priority. It provides consistent speeds for business use without data caps. For most small and medium businesses this is more than adequate. Business-tier Starlink plans with data caps and a public IP are available โ€” ask us if you have specific requirements that might need the business service.
A typical Starlink installation takes two to four hours depending on the complexity of the cable run and mounting location. Most sites are operational on the day of installation. There is no Openreach survey, no wayleave and no weeks-long lead time โ€” the main constraint is our installation diary.
